PARKING ZONE CHARGES |

You have to pay for parking your car in the centre of Poznań. The streets included in the Paid Parking Zone are marked with information signs. You are charged for parking on weekdays from 10 am to 6 pm. You can park your car free of charge on weekends and on weekdays from 6 pm to 10 am. A parking ticket is available from a parking meter located close to parking spaces. Please note. The machines do not give change. A ticket is printed for the whole amount supplied. If you come to Poznań for a few hours, it is best to use one of park and ride car parks - supervised car parks outside the paid parking zone. You can also use the PIF car park at Matejki Street - we charge PLN 2.5 per hour. |
URBAN TRANSPORT (buses and trams) |

Travelling by urban means of transport is faster, especially in the peak hours, than driving by car. You can obtain all information about connections, timetables, charges, luggage fees and other urban issues at an information desk in the main hall of the POZNAŃ GŁÓWNY railway station. You should know that the following types of tickets are valid in Poznań: 1. Tickets with time limits for trams and buses - you can change without having to validate your ticket within a given time limit. Poznań offers an SMS ticket - a new and convenient way to pay for public transport. You pay in advance by sending a text message from your mobile phone to 7003.
